In my pursuit of unique, perfectly fitting clothes, I discovered my passion for sewing. With no prior knowledge, I embarked on a self-taught journey. I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to this new skill, investing a lot of time and money to reach my goal. By studying online resources, specialized books, and trying out various projects, I learned the basics of sewing. With each step, I gained confidence and began creating more complex garments, like jackets and shirts. My persistence paid off, as I eventually became able to make unique clothing not only for myself but also for a few of my friends, surprising and gifting them with my handmade creations. Sewing has become a creative and fulfilling passion, giving me the chance to bring my ideas to life and create special pieces that reflect my personality.
The name "Atelier 00" came to me as I was experimenting with different ideas for what I wanted my brand to represent. I was searching for a name that could convey both the artisanal, workshop-like nature of my creative process and the blank-slate feeling that each new project brings. The word "Atelier," which means “workshop” or “artist’s studio” in French, felt perfect for this – it captured the hands-on, artistic environment where my ideas come to life.
The "00" element was an experiment that quickly became meaningful. To me, it represents a starting point, a space of pure potential – like a blank canvas, open to anything. It’s a nod to the freedom of beginning without limits, a place where creativity and innovation can take shape.
In creating Atelier 00, I wanted to build a space that not only values craftsmanship but also encourages collaboration and experimentation. It’s a place where I can bring my designs to life with others who share my vision, and where each piece becomes a unique expression of style, identity, and personality.
